Use the Wage Scales and Employee Cost Booklet in establishing wages and for guidance in calculating budgets for church, school and ministry employees. Included in this document are steps for establishing a Job Description and Wage Scale, Matching a Job Description to a Wage Scale and also information to help in Estimating the Cost of an Employee.

How To Make a Job Description 
  • Choose a sample from below that seems to match the job you need filled
  • If you don't find an appropriate sample job description that contains the primary job functions you need, contact Human Resources Department and we will work to provide a sample that matches
  • Edit the sample to meet the needs and requirements of your ministry
  • Submit the job description to the Human Resources Department to be reviewed by the Wage Scale/Job Descriptions Committee
  • The Wage Scale/Job Description Committee will assign a wage scale and approve the job description
  • The Job Description and Wage Scale will be returned to you
