Leading Children (and families!) to Heaven
Training for Children’s Ministry, Sabbath School and VBS Leaders
Over about two months in 2016, more than 300 people attended these trainings at six locations throughout our territory. Seminars covered a range of topics, including how to lead Sabbath School and VBS, and how to help your child navigate safely through our evolving digital world. Alice Merrill, NCC children's/family/Adventurer ministries associate director, reports there were lots of great comments, such as: "I learned a ton of new information and gained several resources that will be helpful" and "All the presenters were fabulous, well prepared and qualified."
VBX is … unique! Offer your community a Vacation Bible School eXperience that’s different from the other churches in town. Written by a team of Seventh-day Adventist children’s ministries leaders and pastors, the lessons feature an Adventist point of view that will connect with kids from your church and community. Based on the Bible and focused on the life of Jesus, kids will meet Jesus and learn about His many miracles and the plan of salvation.
