The African-American Ministries and Urban Ministries departments of the Northern California Conference play a pivotal role in helping to network the ministerial structure for its local regional churches. Our department, in the capacity of servant leadership, works with the pastors and their constituency to reveal Jesus Christ to the unbeliever, to edify those who believe, and to help prepare people for his second coming. We assist in evangelistic budgeting, direct the process of pastoral selection and replacement, serve as counselors in conflict resolution and arbitration, aid in financial assistance for urban projects, and stand as a resource agency for creating and developing new ministerial services.
