Navia Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSA) Benefit

NCC Eligible Employees (Regular Employees scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week):
 
Human Resources is pleased to announce open enrollment for Flexible Spending Arrangements through Navia Benefits Solutions.  This is an optional benefit that you will need to enroll for.    

Enrollment begins Monday, May 16, 2016 and ends Thursday, June 16, 2016.
 
It’s easy to enroll: Determine the election amount. Enroll online or by paper and submit to HR.

It’s easy to use: Use your Navia Debit Card throughout the plan year. Download the Navia app right into your cell phone for balance information.
 
Extra Benefits: $500 Carryover, for a remaining balance up to $500 for the next plan year.

 Health Care FSA
 
The Health Care FSA allows you to pay for out-of-pocket medical expenses with tax-free dollars. Think of it as a tool to pay for your regular medical expenses throughout the plan year.
 
Maximum of $2,500 per plan year.
 
Common Eligible Expenses, but not limited to:    
  • Prescription Drugs     
  • Copays
  • Deductibles Dental Work
  • Prescription Glasses Contacts
  • Hearing Aids Heart Monitors
  • Humidifier Insole/Shoe Inserts
  • Chiropractic Massage
  • And much more

Day Care FSA
 
Child care can be one of the single largest expenses for a family with children. A Day Care FSA can be used to pay for qualified day care expenses with pre-tax dollars which can save you up to $1700 per year.
 
Maximum enrollment of $5,000 per plan year, or $2,500 if you’re married and filing taxes  separately.
 
Common Eligible Expenses, but not limited to:
  • Child Care
  • Preschool
  • Before and After School Care
  • Day Camps
