This week, one of our NCC pastors and six lay members are leaving for Texas to serve as volunteer crisis chaplains, representing the Northern California Conference. Over the next year, ACS will need members to volunteer in the North American Division’s Adventist Community Services mega-warehouse in San Antonio. (The volunteer positions are usually two-week stints, and the NCC ACS Ministry will make these requests of churches in our area as the need arises.) At this time, ACS is not in need of food or clothing. However, your financial assistance and prayers for the people in the disaster area are greatly needed. People can donate anytime at www.communityservices.org.
