The Capitol City SDA Church is holding a GENEALOGY SEMINAR on Sunday, April 30, 2-5 p.m. at Sacramento Capitol City Church, 6701 Lemon Hill Ave., Sacramento, CA. Genealogy is a way to learn about your family history. It is more than just tracing your family tree. It is about discovering your heritage, creating a story about your family, and possibly even creating a medical history. Don’t be surprised! It may take you through time and across continents. The Capitol City SDA Church Young Ladies & Men's Ministry presents "I Matter: Journey to Excellence" on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We are inviting young men and women ages 13-18, parents, and adult mentors to youth to a Youth Empowering Brunch. Keynote speakers will be Arthur Bowie, Esq. and Pastor Shantel Smith. The cost is $10 per person (+ tax) and you can register online at www.imatterjourneytoexcellence.eventbrite.com. YOUTH SYMPOSIUM - On May 7 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.), the Young Ladies & Men’s Ministry of Sacramento Capitol City Church will be sponsoring a youth event (ages 13-18) at the Marriott Hotel, 11211 Point E. Drive in Rancho Cordova, CA. Brunch included, $10.00 per person. All youth, parents and those who work with youth are encouraged to attend. Guest speakers will cover such topics as: Christlikeness in Today’s World, Power Image, Preparing for Tomorrow’s World, and much more.  Registration available at EVENTBRITE. Berea Youth Council - We are young Christians, ages 18-35, who meet together each fourth Friday of the month to support each other's Christian and life  journey while serving our community. Join us each fourth Friday at 7 p.m. All are welcome as we fellowship, study God's Word, encourage our faith, and give back to our community. PUC/NAD 100 Percent Free Tuition Partnership - PUC offers 100 percent free tuition for students with a parent serving the SDA church through denominational employment. Students must have at least one parent who receives NAD tuition assistance (per NAD Working Policy, Y 24 05) at 70 percent of PUC’s tuition cost to be eligible. Participation in this plan may result in ineligibility for other PUC financial aid as well as state and federal grants. Student must reside in the dormitory to be eligible.
