Education and/or Experience: Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or Master’s degree in Theology, Religion, Chaplaincy or its equivalent and five years’ experience is desired. (An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ministerial Credential or Commissioned Ministerial Credential. Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in regular standing.

Job Description Summary: The College Chaplain is an integral part of the Pacific Union College Office of Campus Ministries which is grounded in the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Chaplain provides faith development opportunities and spiritual care for students, enriches the spiritual and intellectual life of campus, assists in building a vibrant College community of faith and learning, and helps further the lofty mission of preparing its students for lives of service.  This position will report directly to the Vice President for Student Life. Compensation and denominational benefits will be provided by the Northern California Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, and is commensurate with education and experience.
